How do I use it?
- Pick a time: tap one of the five chips (15, 30, 45, 1m, 2m) or turn the Digital Crown.
- Start: tap the big Start button.
- Cancel: while the ring is counting down, tap anywhere inside the ring.
- Last 10 seconds: the screen turns amber and your watch taps your wrist once a second.
- GO: when time is up, the screen turns green. Tap Done or wait five seconds to return to Start.
I don’t feel the taps
Check that Haptic Alerts are on in the Watch app on your iPhone (Sounds & Haptics) or in Settings › Sounds & Haptics on your watch. Recover’s beep follows your watch’s silent mode; the taps always play.
Does it work with my wrist down?
Yes. Recover keeps the countdown and the haptic taps going in the background while your arm is down. If you open another app, watchOS may pause the background session; the countdown time stays correct when you come back.
Which watches are supported?
Any Apple Watch that runs watchOS 27 or later. Recover is a standalone watch app, so you don’t need an iPhone app.
Does Recover log workouts or use Health?
No. Recover doesn’t start workouts, read sensors, or write to Health. See the privacy policy.
